Job Summary

As the Head of Employment and Litigation, this full-time remote position will provide pragmatic employment advice, manage litigation matters, and develop scalable employment policies for a rapidly growing organization.

Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver practical guidance on various labor and employment issues, including hiring, compensation, and performance management
  • Design and conduct employment-law training for managers and HR teams on critical areas such as terminations and accommodations
  • Oversee the management of litigation matters, including demand letters and subpoenas, while maintaining outside counsel relationships and budgets
Required qualifications:
  • JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
  • 9-12+ years of employment and litigation experience, preferably in-house
  • Proven ability to build policies from scratch and manage outside counsel
  • Experience with a distributed, multi-state workforce
  • Healthcare or regulated-industry experience is a plus
