Job Summary

To support a growing global AI-driven clean-tech company, the full-time remote Assistant General Counsel (Employment and Litigation) will provide legal expertise in employment law, immigration, and litigation while advising on compliance and workforce matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the company's legal function with a focus on employment law and related compliance
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related documents, including agreements and employee handbooks
• Advise on employment matters affecting a mobile international workforce and manage disputes or litigation as necessary

Required qualifications

• 13-16 years of legal experience, including at least 4 years at a top law firm focused on employment and executive compensation
• Global employment experience, particularly in jurisdictions such as Australia, Canada, the UK, and Europe
• Substantial experience in drafting and negotiating employment agreements and advising on HR-related issues
• Knowledge of workforce mobility, immigration, and employee benefits matters
• J.D. from a top law school and active admission to a state bar
