Job Summary

To support a growing telemedicine practice, a State Licensed Endocrinology Physician will provide comprehensive obesity and diabetes management, focusing on patient care and collaboration with advanced practice providers in a fully remote, flexible position offering 32 to 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a telemedicine setting, focusing on obesity treatment and diabetes management, including insulin titration
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers and Registered Dietitians to ensure quality care and manage complex endocrinology cases
  • Participate in team-based care initiatives and contribute to quality improvement efforts within the diabetes and obesity medicine program
Required qualifications
  • MD or DO degree with valid and current Board certification in Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
  • Active and unrestricted Medical State License in any US State, with eligibility to obtain additional state licenses
  • 2 years of clinical experience in obesity medicine or endocrinology, or completion of an accredited Fellowship program in Endocrinology or Obesity Medicine
  • Demonstrated competency in managing patients with complex co-morbidities, including CKD, ESRD, and CAD/CV conditions
  • Expertise in advanced diabetes management, including the use of continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps
