Job Summary
To support a growing virtual obesity medicine clinic, a State Licensed Endocrinology Physician will provide remote, patient-facing care focused on obesity treatment and diabetes management, working 32 to 40 hours per week in a flexible, salaried position.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care through telemedicine, emphasizing evidence-based obesity treatment and diabetes management
- Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and Registered Dietitians to ensure quality patient care and manage complex endocrinology cases
- Participate in team-based care initiatives and contribute to quality improvement efforts within the diabetes and obesity medicine program
Required qualifications
- MD or DO degree with valid and current Board certification in Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- Active and unrestricted Medical State License in any US State, with eligibility to obtain additional state licenses
- 2 years of clinical experience in obesity medicine or endocrinology, or completion of an accredited Fellowship program
- Demonstrated competency in managing patients with complex co-morbidities, including CKD, ESRD, and CAD/CV conditions
- Experience providing synchronous patient care in a telehealth setting is preferred
