State Licensed Environmental Health Manager

Job Summary

Leading the strategic and operational development of Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) initiatives, the full-time State Licensed Environmental Health Manager will ensure compliance with regulations, promote a sustainable safety culture, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance health and wellbeing across the European CSL Plasma network.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of global and regional EH&S strategies while ensuring alignment with CSL's overarching goals
• Identify and mitigate EH&S risks, providing guidance to leadership and teams to foster a culture of safety and health
• Develop and manage health and wellbeing programs, analyzing health metrics to drive improvements across the organization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety engineering, health management, occupational sciences, or a related field
• Certification as a safety specialist under the German Occupational Safety Act (ASIG)
• Current knowledge of German and European EH&S legislation and regulations
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a regulated environment
• Proficiency in English, with strong communication skills
