State Licensed Epic Consultant
Job Summary
Providing expertise in Epic product function and design, the contract Sr Epic Orders Consultant will collaborate with end users to build and enhance EpicCare Inpatient systems, lead software upgrade initiatives, and participate in testing while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build the Epic system while making corrective configurations and enhancements
- Lead small to medium complexity Epic software upgrades and ensure proper documentation and issue escalation
- Perform daily monitoring of applications, support incident resolution, and participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' healthcare experience
- Active Epic certification in EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation
- Over 5 years of experience with Epic systems
- Knowledge of clinical documentation workflows and patient flow
- Experience in translating business requirements into functional specifications
