Job Summary
A company is looking for an Exceptional Education Resource Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides academic support to help students meet individual learning plan goals, including IEP and Gifted learning plans
- Monitors student mastery and progress through various learning activities
- Conducts 1:1 and group sessions using web conferencing tools and virtual whiteboards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field with 2 years of classroom experience
- Valid teaching license in areas such as Special Education or English Language Learners
- Experience working with students with disabilities or specialized supports
- Highly qualified teacher status that meets NCLB requirements
- Experience facilitating online courses is recommended but not required
