Job Summary
To support a growing financial services practice, the full-time salaried State Licensed FI Valuation Manager will manage valuation engagements for financial institutions, oversee technical compliance, and mentor junior staff, with opportunities to work remotely or in various locations including Charlotte, Charleston, Nashville, and Greenville.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the execution of FI-specific valuations, ensuring compliance with CECL requirements and regulatory standards
- Act as a technical specialist, reviewing PCAOB client valuations and providing support to audit teams
- Lead mentorship and training efforts for Seniors and Associates within the FI vertical
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 5-7 years of relevant valuation experience focused on Financial Institutions
- Experience at a Top 20 or Big 4 accounting firm
- CPA, ASA, CFA, or ABV certification (completed or actively pursuing)
- Strong technical background in ASC 805 and financial institution valuation models
