Job Summary

A company is looking for a Field Medical Director, MSK Surgery (Orthopedic Surgery).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Physician match reviewer for Hip/Knee/Shoulder Surgery cases and imaging requests
• Discuss determinations with requesting physicians and provide clinical rationale for appeals
• Ensure compliance with medical review guidelines and assist Initial Clinical Reviewers

Required Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS with an active clinical license in good standing
• Minimum of five years of medical practice experience post-residency
• Active Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery
• Current, unrestricted clinical license in medicine or required specialty
• No history of major disciplinary or legal action by a state medical board
