Job Summary

A company is looking for a Field Medical Director, Radiology.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Physician match reviewer for imaging cases requiring specialty reviews
• Discuss determinations with requesting physicians and provide clinical rationale for appeals
• Ensure compliance with medical review guidelines and document communications accurately

Required Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS degree
• Minimum of five years of medical practice experience, with active clinical practice preferred within the last two years
• Current, unrestricted clinical license in the home state or required specialty
• Active Board Certification by an accredited organization
• No history of major disciplinary or legal actions by a state medical board
