Job Summary

A company is looking for a Field Medical Director, Radiology (Part Time).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Physician match reviewer for imaging cases that do not meet medical necessity guidelines
• Discuss determinations with requesting physicians and provide clinical rationale for appeals
• Ensure compliance with review guidelines and assist Initial Clinical Reviewers as needed

Required Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS degree
• Minimum of five years' experience in Medicine post-residency
• Current, unrestricted clinical license in medicine or required specialty
• Active Board Certification by an accredited organization
• No history of major disciplinary actions by a state medical board
