State Licensed Funds Associate

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Funds Associate with three to five years of experience, who will advise investment funds throughout their lifecycle and work closely with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets unit, with the option to work remotely or from various office locations, excluding New Jersey, New York, and California.

Key responsibilities

• Advise investment funds and investors on legal strategies and actions throughout all stages of fund lifecycle
• Collaborate with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets strategic business unit on various projects
• Manage multiple projects effectively while demonstrating exceptional judgment under pressure

Required qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in corporate and securities law, with a focus on investment funds
• Experience with private equity, private credit, and venture capital funds preferred
• Active bar license in the relevant state or commitment to obtaining one promptly
• Strong academic credentials and a commitment to community involvement
• Demonstrated ability to articulate legal strategies and handle multiple projects simultaneously
