State Licensed Funds Associate

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Funds Associate with three to five years of experience, the candidate will advise investment funds throughout their lifecycle and work primarily with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets unit, with the option to work remotely or from various office locations, excluding New Jersey, New York, and California.

Key responsibilities

• Advise investment funds and their investors on legal strategies and compliance throughout all stages of the fund lifecycle
• Collaborate with attorneys to manage multiple projects and provide legal guidance in corporate and securities matters
• Demonstrate exceptional judgment and interpersonal skills while working under pressure in a dynamic environment

Required qualifications

• Active bar license in the corresponding state or commitment to obtain one
• Three to five years of experience in corporate and securities law, with a focus on investment funds
• Experience with private equity, private credit, and venture capital funds preferred
• Strong academic credentials and a commitment to community engagement
• Ability to articulate legal strategies effectively and handle multiple projects simultaneously
