Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Counsel who will oversee legal, regulatory, and compliance matters across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on corporate governance, fundraising, and contract negotiations
• Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and develop internal policies for privacy and security
• Serve as a legal partner for strategic initiatives and manage external counsel relationships

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active license to practice law
• 8-12+ years of legal experience, ideally with a mix of top law firm and in-house roles
• Background in payer and healthcare provider contracts
• Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, AKS, and Stark
• Experience supporting startups or high-growth companies, particularly in digital health or healthtech
