Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance and regulatory matters, ensuring adherence to healthcare laws and regulations
• Manage legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and contract negotiations
• Provide legal counsel to executive leadership on various legal issues and corporate governance

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
• 10+ years of legal practice experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Expertise in federal and state healthcare laws, M&A, and employment law
• Relevant certifications, such as Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), are preferred
