State Licensed General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Counsel to lead the legal function for a growing direct-to-consumer health technology company.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data privacy and protection strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Review and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor and partnership contracts
• Provide legal guidance on marketing claims and ensure compliance with advertising regulations

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law
• 4+ years of legal experience, preferably in healthtech or DTC companies
• Experience with data privacy regulations such as HIPAA and CCPA/CPRA
• Strong background in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
• Experience in advising on marketing compliance and consumer protection law
