State Licensed General Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare technology company, the remote State Licensed General Counsel will serve as the chief legal advisor, develop legal strategies, lead a legal team, and manage complex commercial agreements and corporate governance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the chief legal advisor and strategic partner to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team
• Lead and develop a high-performing legal team while overseeing commercial contracting and governance activities
• Negotiate and advise on complex commercial agreements and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations

Required qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with a state bar
• 12+ years of legal experience in healthcare, technology, or highly regulated industries
• Prior experience leading legal teams while actively engaging in legal execution
• Demonstrated success advising executive leadership on complex legal matters
• Strong experience with commercial contracting, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance
