Job Summary

Working remotely on a temporary basis, a State Licensed General Liability Adjuster will manage and adjust commercial general liability claims, including slip and fall, trip and fall, and construction defect cases while collaborating with insurance carriers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage and adjust commercial general liability claims, including slip and fall, trip and fall, and construction defect cases
  • Investigate claims to determine coverage, liability, and settlements while documenting all claim activity accurately
  • Negotiate settlements and communicate effectively with claimants, vendors, and external stakeholders throughout the claims process
Required qualifications
  • 5+ years of general liability claims experience, including working with a carrier
  • Active adjuster license in the candidate's state of residence or a designated home state license
  • Proficient in claims systems and software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with a stable employment history
  • Proven success in independent decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation
