Key Responsibilities

Collect and review personal and family health history
Perform genetic risk assessments and provide patient education and support
Document patient encounters and facilitate genetic testing in accordance with health plan benefits

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in Genetic Counseling or Human Genetics
Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Genetic Counseling or American Board of Medical Genetics
Minimum of 2 years experience as a clinical genetic counselor
Maintaining state licensure, CEUs, and board certification
Experience complying with state and federal regulations
