Job Summary
As a full-time remote State Licensed Genetic Counselor, the Genetic Counselor I will facilitate communication between professional clients and laboratory teams, manage complex cases, and provide expert guidance in genetic testing strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with professional clients to coordinate complex cases and relay abnormal or intricate results
- Facilitate management of complex cases between various internal teams and external clients
- Act as a liaison between professional clients and laboratory teams, while educating and supporting professional trainees
Required qualifications
- Master of Science or Master of Arts in Genetic Counseling from an ACGC-accredited program or equivalent
- Experience (1+ years) in clinical or laboratory genetics preferred
- Board certified or Board eligible in Genetic Counseling by ABMG or ABGC
