Job Summary
To support targeted state-specific lobbying campaigns, the full-time State Licensed Government Affairs Lead will manage external lobbyists, develop relationships with state officials, and deliver actionable intelligence, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary accountability manager for external lobbyists, setting performance expectations and conducting regular assessments
- Translate corporate policy positions into tailored advocacy messaging for state-specific political dynamics
- Develop and maintain relationships with state legislators and regulatory officials while monitoring relevant legislation
Required qualifications
- 7-12+ years of experience in state government, lobbying, or legislative affairs with exposure to multiple state legislatures
- Demonstrated experience managing external vendors or consultants against defined performance standards
- Working knowledge of gaming regulation or consumer protection policies
- Established relationships with key government officials in the assigned region
- Experience in a multi-state lobbying role within fast-moving industries such as technology or gaming
