State Licensed HCC Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an HCC Coding Auditor to join their Quality Management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality reviews on internal and subcontracted HCC coders and OP CDI using risk adjustment coding and HEDIS expertise
• Analyze quality results with an audit tool and provide feedback on coding and documentation questions
• Prepare and deliver training on HCC documentation requirements tailored to various audiences

Required Qualifications

• RN required
• Coding credential of CCS or CRC preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in auditing HCCs or outpatient CDI
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including 365, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• 3 years of experience in auditing in an ambulatory clinic setting with knowledge of ICD-10-CM, HCC, and CPT/HCPCS coding requirements
