State Licensed Head of Legal

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Legal to lead all legal affairs and ensure compliance in a rapidly evolving healthcare technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal advisor to the CEO and executive leadership on legal and regulatory matters
• Manage the company's legal compliance programs related to healthcare laws and data privacy
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and oversee corporate governance matters

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Minimum of 10 years of legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department
• Significant experience in healthcare technology and expertise in U.S. healthcare regulatory compliance
• Proven track record in contract negotiation, corporate law, M&A, and risk management
