State Licensed Head of Psychiatry

Job Summary

Seeking a compassionate and dynamic State Licensed Head of Psychiatry, this remote, fractional salaried position will manage a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality psychiatric consultations and support mental health care for children and families across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the overall vision for the psychiatry function and oversee hiring, training, and quality assurance of psychiatric staff
• Collaborate with healthcare managers and primary care providers to review patient caseloads and develop treatment recommendations
• Conduct systematic caseload reviews and provide indirect psychiatric consultations, ensuring adherence to measurement-based care

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in relevant state(s) including TN, TX, CA, MD, FL, VA, CT, CO
• Experience with Collaborative Care Model, integrated care, or telepsychiatry strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills suitable for a consultative, team-based role
• Commitment to population health and improving access to evidence-based mental health care
