State Licensed Health Coach

Job Summary

Providing remote support to military members and their families, the full-time State Licensed Health Coach will deliver individual and group coaching sessions, develop personalized wellness plans, and utilize Motivational Interviewing techniques to promote optimal health and wellness.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group Health and Wellness coaching sessions in accordance with COA and URAC standards
• Develop personalized wellness plans tailored to each client's values, goals, and needs
• Document all services and follow-up activities accurately and timely within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nutrition, or Personal Training/Fitness
• Current certification in Health and Wellness Coaching from a program approved by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC)
• Knowledge and understanding of military lifestyle and culture
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic documentation systems
• Ability to successfully pass criminal history and credential verification checks
