State Licensed Health Director

Job Summary

Leading client engagements, the full-time salaried Health Director will design and manage comprehensive health and benefits programs while driving strategy, expanding client relationships, and participating in new business development efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and management of group medical, dental, wellbeing, disability, and time-off plans for clients
• Serve as the primary project manager, ensuring progress against objectives, budgets, and quality standards
• Proactively advise clients and facilitate collaboration with specialist resources to deliver superior service

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in designing and managing complex health and welfare plans in a consulting or brokerage environment
• Strong financial skills, with prior experience in health and welfare product pricing or underwriting preferred
• State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; high school diploma required
• CEBS designation or health and welfare actuarial or underwriting training desired
