State Licensed Health Placement Director

Job Summary

To enhance client benefits strategies, the full-time remote State Licensed Health Placement Director will manage the carrier/vendor bid, procurement, and negotiation processes for health and group benefit programs while collaborating with client teams and preparing deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the carrier/vendor bid and negotiation process for medium to large clients, partnering with senior colleagues on complex accounts
• Guide teams on deliverables and anticipate client needs, leveraging knowledge of industry trends and available products
• Maintain strong external relationships and provide leadership to junior colleagues in the placement process

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in professional services, preferably in benefit consulting or health care
• Intermediate/advanced knowledge of fully insured and self-funded arrangements, including stop loss contracts
• Active State Life and Health license required
• Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or finance/math, or relevant industry experience
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and produce quality deliverables on time
