State Licensed High Voltage Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a High Voltage Transmission Electrical Engineer specializing in HVDC electrical power systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for HVDC terrestrial and submarine cable systems and converter stations
- Conduct feasibility studies for HVDC cable routing and converter stations
- Prepare conceptual engineering documents and support clients with technical coordination
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 6 years of relevant HVAC and HVDC experience
- Experience in electrical power engineering with some leadership experience
- Preferred: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- 10+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Familiarity with power systems analysis software and industry codes and standards
