Job Summary

A company is looking for a Freelance Hindi On-Demand Interpreter.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately interprets messages between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers
• Adheres to the National Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics for Interpreters in Health Care
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years interpreting experience, preferably OPI/VRI
• National or State Interpreter Certification (e.g., CHI, CMI, NIC, CI/CT, VQAS)
• Knowledgeable command of Medical, Educational, and social services terminology
• Completion of 40 hours or more of interpreter training
• Fluency in English and the target language, with ability to provide fluency test results
