Job Summary

A company is looking for an Oncology Pathology Assistant (Histology Technologist).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist medical and customer service teams in interpreting oncology pathology reports to identify optimal samples for testing
• Ensure accurate curation of clinical history and specimen information in the sample database
• Serve as a subject matter expert for pathology reports and assist in identifying optimal additional samples

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with certification as a Histology Technologist by ASCP or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in anatomic pathology with extensive knowledge of solid tumor pathology
• Proficiency in understanding anatomic pathology reports for various solid tumors
• Experience in identifying diagnostic samples for successful testing
• Ability to build relationships with referring pathology laboratories
