Job Summary

A company is looking for a Histotechnician to perform various laboratory tasks related to tissue processing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Tissue fixation, processing, and embedding of biological specimens
• Sectioning tissues using microtomy techniques to prepare high-quality slides
• Performing routine, special staining, and IHC/IF procedures

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• At least 2 years of experience in FFPE tissue sectioning, with skin experience required
• Associate degree in histotechnology or a related field
• ASCP certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL), or eligibility to obtain certification
• Proficiency in microtomy, tissue processing, embedding, and staining techniques
• Bachelor's Degree
