State Licensed Initial Review Pharmacist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Initial Review Pharmacist to monitor medication profiles and evaluate prescription drug orders for patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and accurately verify prescription orders in a timely manner
• Assess, plan, and implement patient care activities to ensure safe and effective drug therapy
• Investigate, report, and document adverse drug events and medication incidents

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent experience with an active State Board Pharmacy license
• 3+ years of Pharmacist experience preferred
• Proven experience with medical and biological terminology
• Must be able to be licensed in multiple states
• Experience with FrameworkLTC and Docutrack software preferred
