Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder II, Inpatient.

Key Responsibilities

• Assigns ICD diagnosis and procedure codes for inpatient medical records and outpatient infusion accounts
• Maintains a coding accuracy rate of 95% or better and meets established productivity standards
• Communicates with medical staff through coding queries to ensure proper code assignment

Required Qualifications and Education

• Professional certification in coding (e.g., CPC, CCS)
• Experience with ICD and CPT-4 coding classification systems
• Proficiency in hospital coding software and systems (e.g., HRM, ChartMaxx)
• Ability to abstract clinical data with a 99% accuracy rate
• Commitment to ongoing education and training in coding practices
