Job Summary

A company is looking for a Facility Inpatient Coding Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive audits of inpatient facility coding for accuracy and compliance
• Identify coding errors and trends, providing feedback and coaching to team members
• Ensure adherence to coding guidelines, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards

Required Qualifications

• Active coding credential: RHIA, RHIT, CCS (required)
• Minimum 3 years of inpatient facility auditing experience
• Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, MS-DRGs, and POA indicators
• Strong understanding of CMS regulations and compliance standards
• Experience working with global or remote coding teams
