Job Summary
Supporting new teachers in their transition from the iteach alternative certification program, the part-time hourly State Licensed Instructional Coach will provide targeted coaching, feedback, and mentorship through online platforms, fostering a supportive learning environment to enhance instructional skills and confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with new teachers through blended online coaching and one-on-one support
- Provide meaningful feedback on assignments and facilitate virtual huddle sessions for professional growth
- Support teachers for at least two semesters, ensuring they develop confidence and competence in the classroom
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in the field of education
- Current teacher, instructional coach, mentor, instructor, or school administrator
- Active state-specific teaching certification in one of the eligible states
- At least 3 years of teaching experience with a strong understanding of instructional best practices
- Experience mentoring or coaching new teachers in their first years of teaching
