State Licensed Intake Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing specialty pharmacy, the full-time State Licensed Intake Specialist will enroll new patients, manage patient information, and facilitate communication with healthcare providers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Placing phone calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients to gather necessary information
• Enrolling patients into specialty services, including patient care management and copay assistance programs
• Answering inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals, and managing assigned workflow queues

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required based on state regulations
• Minimum of two years of pharmacy support or healthcare environment experience preferred
• Ability to work scheduled hours, with shifts varying based on department needs
• Commitment to compliance with legal and ethical standards in all duties
