State Licensed Internal Audit Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Director, Internal Audit to build and lead their internal audit function.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise risk assessment process
• Execute a risk-based annual audit plan aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements
• Present audit findings and recommendations to the CFO and Audit Committee

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• 15+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role
• CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent certification required
• Experience in the technology industry and public companies preferred
• Deep understanding of internal control frameworks and risk assessment methodologies
