State Licensed Interpreter (OPI)

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Interpreter (OPI) - Government Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote over the phone interpreting services for government representatives and non-English speakers
• Ensure accurate delivery of concepts and meanings between speakers while maintaining professionalism
• Adhere to applicable ethics and standards while managing the flow of conversation

Required Qualifications

• At least one (1) year of OPI consecutive or simultaneous interpreting experience
• Two (2) professional references related to interpreting experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Full fluency in English and native or near-native proficiency in the target language
• Accreditation from recognized bodies such as the American Translation Association (ATA) or a higher education institution
