State Licensed Junior Coding Associate

Job Summary

To support the Risk Adjustment team, the full-time State Licensed Junior Coding Associate will perform accurate and compliant coding of assigned encounters remotely, focusing on CPT and E & M code application in accordance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply CPT and E & M codes according to AMA standards for state encounter submission
• Maintain coding accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
• Complete assigned daily and weekly coding volumes while adhering to defined workflows and deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Active coding certification (CPC, CCS, RHIT, or CRC preferred)
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and diagnosis coding
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes
