Job Summary

A company is looking for an Employment Counsel for a 3-month contract focused on redundancy exercises and performance management issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute redundancy exercises while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
  • Provide strategic advice on performance management issues to support HR and management teams
  • Develop and maintain legal playbooks and manage litigation and billing trackers
Required Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
  • 4+ years of experience in employment law, particularly in redundancy and performance management
  • Proven ability to manage redundancy exercises efficiently and compliantly
  • Experience in developing legal playbooks and managing legal tracking systems is preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR and legal operations
