State Licensed Junior Litigation Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Litigation Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with handling disputes and legal claims across North America, including drafting correspondence and coordinating local litigation counsel
• Manage external counsel to ensure budget and service expectations are met
• Maintain an internal tracking database of ongoing claims and remain current on relevant areas of law impacting litigation risk

Required Qualifications

• JD or LL.B from an accredited law school and a member of at least one State Bar in good standing
• 1-4 years of litigation experience; in-house experience is preferred but not required
• Knowledge in areas such as real estate agreements, labor and employment, or tort law is preferred but not required
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
