State Licensed Latin Instructor

Job Summary

To support at-risk students in a remote environment, the part-time State Licensed Latin Instructor will develop and implement educational strategies, provide academic guidance through various communication methods, and maintain student engagement using company-provided curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic support and guidance for students enrolled in online Latin courses
• Grade assignments and respond to student inquiries within specified timeframes while maintaining course integrity
• Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions using virtual conferencing tools and implement appropriate learning strategies

Required qualifications

• Fluency in written and spoken Latin
• Valid teaching license in at least one state or relevant tutoring experience
• Experience working with at-risk students and those with special needs is preferred
• Familiarity with online course facilitation is recommended
• Ability to work flexible hours and maintain active educator licenses and credentials
