State Licensed Lead Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to Product, Engineering, Security, and Marketing teams
• Advise on open source licensing and privacy policies, ensuring compliance and risk management
• Lead incident response efforts and coordinate audits and compliance projects across departments

Required Qualifications

• In-house product/privacy counsel experience, preferably in SaaS or security
• At least 5 years of experience with open source licensing
• Strong knowledge of privacy, data protection, and AI compliance regulations
• Ability to assess and communicate business risks effectively
• Must be in good standing with a U.S. state bar
