Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Piping Stress Engineer 1 - Nuclear.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides technical direction and supervision to project team members, establishing schedules and budgets
  • Reviews and approves calculations and designs, ensuring compliance with project requirements
  • Prepares and reviews specifications, bid evaluations, and complex reports/studies
Required Qualifications and Education
  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Aerospace, or Structural/Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • P.E. license
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience
  • Extensive knowledge of ASME B31.1 and ASME B&PV Section III piping codes
  • Knowledge of the design and application of pipe supporting elements
