Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Commercial & Medical Legal Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, HEOR, and Patient Advocacy teams on regulatory matters
• Participate in promotional and medical MLR Review Committees, advising on advertising and scientific exchange
• Review and draft contracts for compliance and develop training on legal and compliance issues for business partners

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and admission to practice law in at least one state
• Minimum 5 years of legal experience, preferably in-house within the pharmaceutical industry
• Understanding of FDA promotional guidance, Anti-Kickback Statute, and False Claims Act
• Experience with state price reporting or privacy matters preferred
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity
