State Licensed Legal Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Counsel to provide legal advice and support on various legal issues and transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and revise complex commercial agreements and corporate contractual documents
• Advise on regulatory, compliance, and industry-specific legal matters, including HIPAA
• Manage dispute resolution and litigation, ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and licensed to practice law in a U.S. state
• 3+ years of experience in corporate law, contract law, or transactional/M&A law, preferably in a technology company
• Familiarity with AI and its applications in legal workflows
• Knowledge of intellectual property law and financial/revenue recognition issues
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship
