Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP, Legal Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervises and prepares client registration statement updates and other SEC filings
• Leads the preparation and distribution of client board and committee materials, and attends meetings as needed
• Mentors associates and maintains strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction

Required Qualifications

• J.D. and membership (or anticipated membership) in the bar of at least one state
• 5 years of experience as a 1940 Act attorney
• Management and leadership experience
• Knowledge of relevant securities laws, including the Investment Company Act of 1940
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
