Job Summary

To support a fast-growing AI-powered fintech, the full-time State Licensed Legal Counsel will provide legal advice on consumer credit products, manage litigation matters, and review commercial agreements while working remotely in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on consumer credit products and regulatory issues, providing practical legal guidance to product teams
• Manage litigation and arbitration matters, coordinating with outside counsel and internal teams
• Review and negotiate commercial agreements, ensuring they protect the company's interests while supporting operational needs

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of legal experience in financial services, consumer financial regulation, or fintech
• Juris Doctor (JD) and active admission to at least one US state bar
• Experience advising on consumer credit products and related legal frameworks
• Strong background in managing outside counsel and litigation matters
• Familiarity with commercial contracts, including vendor agreements and NDAs
