Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the full-time State Licensed Legal Counsel will manage the drafting, negotiation, implementation, and lifecycle management of commercial agreements remotely, focusing on contracts related to EPR programs and sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and compliance for various agreements
- Provide targeted legal analysis on regulatory requirements impacting contract terms and obligations
- Serve as a primary legal advisor to business teams on contract strategy and risk allocation
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school
- Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state
- 5+ years of experience focused on commercial contract drafting and negotiation
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems is strongly preferred
