Job Summary
As a part-time State Licensed Legal Counsel, the successful candidate will serve as a strategic legal advisor focusing on commercial transactions, drafting and managing agreements, and providing legal guidance to various teams in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements
- Advise business leaders on operational, compliance, and corporate matters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate business transactions and mitigate legal risks
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state
- 5+ years of legal experience in corporate law, particularly in commercial transactions
- Strong understanding of intellectual property and data protection laws
- Experience with drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
